THE DARK SIDE OF DREAMS

You know your day is going to suck when you burn your upper thigh with boiling water before you even had your 1st coffee of the day. And you know it’s going to suck even more when the only clean bottoms you have right now are super tight jeans. Second day of work will be hell on earth

I was planning on going back to Mapplethorpe’s exhibit in Paris to see “man in a polyester suit” one last time but the exhibit closed yesterday (and for some obscure reason I thought it closed the 16th). The joy of seing this glorious photograph tomorrow was crushed tonight and now I just want to curl up in my bed and cry whilst listening to Joan Baez covers of old folk songs in which women have their dreams destroyed too.
