Old thoughts from rough yet eye opening times.

In life you only have two choices. You can choose to let all your bad thoughts and decisions take over your whole life and feel sad, depressed and permanently unhappy OR you can choose to embrace all your bad decisions and try to learn from them so you keep moving forward ! Life is a permanent fight, you can’t win all the time and once you get that, things get a lot better ! Every time I made a mistake it always showed me what truly mattered and what I deeply wanted yet refused to see. Of course, when things go wrong it can be a tough to stay positive but you have to appreciate what you’ve got. Not in a cliché way like “oh yeah I’m not starving I’ve got a home blablabla”. You have to appreciate all the little things that you rarely notice and that make life awesome: the blissful early morning sunshine when you got up at 6am to attend a lecture an hour away from your house, the funny walk of a dog in the subway at 8pm when everyone is going home, the chance we have to live in wonderful citites filled with awesome places that we never notice, the chance to get out of our house in our old ragged sneakers and sweatpants and not giving a fuck to the people staring with a grin on their faces. Life is great if you see, enjoy being alive because if you were told that you only had one hour left to live you would probably spend it crying like a moron thinking about all the things you wished to do but never actually done.
